energy & meteo systems
Purpose and Scope
This data privacy statement is to inform the user as to the type, scope and purpose and usage of personal data by the responsible supplier, energy & meteo systems GmbH, Marie-Curie-Str. 1, 26129 Oldenburg, email@example.com, Tel. +49 (0) 441 36116470 from this website (referred to as "offer", below).
The legal foundation for data protection is found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).
Access Data / Server Log Files
The provider (or his webspace provider) collects data each time the offer is accessed (so-called server log files). The content of the server log files is as follows: name of the web page called, file, date and time of access, amount of data transmitted, notice that site was successfully accessed, browser type and version, user's operating system, referer URL (the last site visited), IP-Address and the requesting provider.
The provider makes use of protocol data solely for the purposes of statistical evaluations as it pertains to the company, to security and to optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check protocol data in retrospect should concrete circumstances point to the justified suspicion of usage in an illegal manner.
Handling of Personal Data
Personal data is information with which a person is identifiable, i.e. details which can be traced back to one person. This includes name, e-mail address or telephone number. Additionally, preferences, hobbies, group memberships or which web pages a person has visited count as personal data.
Personal data is only collected, used, and passed on when this is allowed by law or with the user's consent.
Upon contacting the provider (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), data from the user is saved in order to process the request as well as in the case that follow-up questions arise.
Integration of Services and Content by Third Parties
As part of this online offer, it may occur that third party content is integrated, for example YouTube videos, map material from Google Maps, RSS-Feeds or graphics from other web pages. This always requires that the third party suppliers of such content (referred to, below, as "third parties") are able to detect the user's IP address, as without an IP address this content cannot be sent to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus a requirement for the representation of this content. We strive to only include content for which the respective supplier is known to use the IP address solely for the purpose of content delivery. However, we have no influence in cases where, for example, third parties use IP addresses for their own statistical purposes. In cases where this is known to us, we will inform the user.
Cancellation, Changes, Corrections and Updates
The user has the right to receive information on personal data saved on him upon request and free of charge. Moreover, the user has the right to correct false data, as well as to block and erase his personal data as far as there is no legal obligation to retain the data.
